Gyeongju was Korea's capital for a thousand years and is now better known for its cafes, which is roughly how this line ended up being about dessert.
Everyone is in a hat. Miffy takes an ice cream in a pink or blue hat. Melanie — the dark rabbit, and the one that turns up in merchandise far less often than Miffy — gets a pink-hat ice cream and a blue-hat black sesame version. Boris handles the coffee in either hat, and in the pink one he is caught mid-spill, which is the best face in the set.
